Children Etiquette

1st – 5th Grade Boys and Girls

Our children Etiquette classes is a 1hr weekly program for 6 weeks. In today’s society children are often quick to pre-assess situations and form a conclusion. Often times, influence by peer pressure. We address bullying in schools, the importance of making a great first impression, and how to present themselves in a variety of situations. Mealtime play a vital role in our daily routine, our students are taught table manners, formal and informal dining etiquette, rules of the table and social grace. In celebration of completing the course, we will end our final session with a mandatory 2-3 hr. formal dinner for all students.  Parent will be informed of date and time prior to end of course. The attire for the dinner will be dress to impress. On behalf of Fort Worth School of Etiquette each student will receive a certificate of completion at the formal dinner. Students will have the option to choose from the menu choices prior to the formal dining experience.

Note to Parents:

Parents will be informed of date and time of formal dining experience prior to end of course.

Parents are encouraged to attend formal dinner.
(not mandatory.) Meals for parents are not included in the package, however, parents will have the option to order from the restaurant menu.

Class is limited to 10 students per Session.

    Use of the napkins
    Seating at the table 
    American and continental dining
    Beginning and ending the meal
    Proper use of the utensils 
    Place setting
    Rules of the table
    Identifying the courses being serve
    How to seat a lady

  • Social Etiquette:

    Greeting/when should you stand
    Shaking hands
    Posture /body language do’s and don’t
    First impressions
    Thank you notes
    Why bullying is unacceptable
    Making eye contact 
    Seating a lady
